Sega Review
                                                                        It is…
A film that takes off from the second half with some well directed parts.
Plot
A girl walking into the sea is how the movie starts. Next, you are introduced to a drunkfather, who walk into his home where you see the ill mother and the hardly-fed kids. The bad dubbing spoils the scene a bit. The father is seen ransacking the house for money and then leaves. His last words to his ill wife, “Why don’t you die already?”
The wife seems to think on similar lines and so she asks her elder son to pass her the bottle of poison (yes, theres one around).
With the mother dead, the two sons are then taken care of by their uncle. The older son (Balaji), grows up to pick up his uncle’s profession and the younger one turns out to be the heroic vagabound, Karthik (Nani). A girl is also found at the uncle’s house and she eventually forms one of the female leads, Revati (Nithya Menon). They all have a friend in the neighbourhood, Vishnu (Karthik Kumar) and that sums up the entire cast for this movie.
Wondering what happened to the drunk father? He gets into drugs, female drug lords and has an affair with a sex worker.
Performance
The actors seem pretty bored in the first half of the movie and then, in the second half, they all come to life!
Nithya Menon blends right in with the middle class environment and Karthik Kumar doesn’t dissapoint either. Bindu Madhavi seems alright too.
What is Good?
The first half has moments of humour, nice scenery and perfect costumes. The second half is really where the movie takes off from and hits all the right notes. The ending is mostly driven by action and some killing.
What is bad?
In the first half, the actor’s don’t give the scenes a finishing touch. So you may find it difficult to believe the characters.
The voice overs and dubbing are not up to the mark. The conversations are poorly dubbed and leave you irritated.
Verdict
Watch the scenery for the first half and let the second half surprise you with the sudden note-hitting. Not a bad way to spend two hours!

Rating: 3/5
